2. Introduction a Friend

 

 

Here’s a simple conversation to introduce a friend in English:

 

Conversation 1 :

 

James : Hello, how are you?

Lisa  : Hello, I’m good. How about you?

James : I’m good too, thank you. Oh, by the way, this is my friend, Alex.

Lisa : Nice to meet you, Alex. I’m Lisa.

Alex : Hello, Lisa. Nice to meet you too.

James : Alex is a really good friend of mine. We’ve been friends for a few years now.

Lisa : That’s great. So, what are you both up to today?

Alex : We’re just planning to relax at a cafe and chat.

James : Yes, that’s right. We’re looking forward to spending time together. How about you?

Lisa : I’m just going shopping for a bit. I hope you both have a great time.

Alex : Thank you, I hope you find what you’re looking for too.

James : Thanks, Alex and I will catch up. See you later!

Lisa : Goodbye! I hope you both have a wonderful day.

Conversation 2 :

 

Robert : Hi there! I’d like you to meet my friend, Sarah.

Amy : Hello, Sarah. Nice to meet you. I’m Amy.

Sarah: Hi, Amy. It’s a pleasure to meet you too.

Robert : Sarah and I have known each other since college.

Amy: That’s cool! So, what brings you both here today?

Sarah: We’re just catching up over coffee.

Robert : Yeah, just having a relaxed afternoon. How about you?

Amy : I’m here to grab a quick lunch. Well, it was nice meeting you, Sarah.

Sarah: Likewise, Amy. Enjoy your lunch!

Conversation 3 :

 

Daniel : Hey, everyone, I want you to meet my friend,  Jack.

Emily : Hi, Jack. I’m Emily, and this is Tom.

Jack:  Nice to meet you both. Thanks for having me.

Daniel : Jack and I go way back. We’ve been friends since high school.

Emily: That’s awesome. So, what do you folks do for fun?

Tom: Yeah, any exciting plans for the weekend?

Jack : We were actually thinking of going hiking on Saturday.

Daniel : Exactly, just a little adventure to enjoy the outdoors.

Emily: Sounds great! Have a fantastic time, you two.

Tom: Yeah, enjoy the hike, and it was nice meeting you, Jack.

Jack : Thank you both! Nice to meet you too.

Conversation 4 :

 

Dicky : Hey, I’d like you to meet my friend, Lisa.

Mike : Hi Lisa, nice to meet you. I’m Mike.

Lisa: Hello Mike, pleasure to meet you too.

Dicky : Lisa and I work together at the same company.

Mike : Ah, that’s great. It’s always nice to know people from the same field. What do you guys like to do for fun?

Lisa: We both enjoy going to art galleries and trying out new cafes.

Dicky : Exactly, it’s our little hobby. How about you, Mike?

Mike : I’m into photography, so I love visiting galleries too. Maybe we can exchange some tips.

Lisa: That sounds wonderful! We’d love that.

Dicky : Great! Well, it was really nice introducing you two. I think you’ll get along well.

Mike: I have a feeling we will. Thanks for introducing us, and it was nice meeting you, Lisa.

Lisa: Likewise, Mike. Looking forward to our art discussions!

Conversation 5 :

 

Andy : Hello, everyone, I’d like you to meet my friend, Michelle.

David : Hi, Michelle. I’m David, and this is Alice.

Michelle: Hello, David and Alice. Nice to meet you both.

Andy : Michelle and I work together at the same company.

David: That’s interesting. What do you do at the company?

Michelle: I’m in the marketing department, and A here is in sales.

Alice : It’s nice to have colleagues who are also friends. What are you all up to today?

Andy : We were just grabbing lunch together and catching up.

David: Sounds like a good plan. Enjoy your meal, and it was a pleasure meeting you, Michelle.
