Max the Clever Dog

Max is a small brown dog. He lives with a family in a big house. Max loves to play outside. Every morning, he runs around the garden. He likes to chase birds and bark at cats. Max always comes back when his name is called.

One day, Max sees a butterfly. He follows the butterfly to the street. A car is coming, but Max stops and waits. He looks both ways and then crosses the road. The butterfly flies away, and Max walks back home.

Max’s family is happy to see him. They give him a big hug and a tasty bone. Max lies down and takes a nap. He is tired, but he is safe. Max is not just a fun dog. He is also very clever!
